I have a B.E in electrical engineering. I have past experience working with OpenShift, Cloud Paks, and ElasticSearch. In my free time, I enjoy tinkering with home automation, working out, going on walks, and trying new foods.

Mobile IoT-Based Pothole Detection System

This project aims to detect potholes on roads using a mobile device equipped with a camera and an AI algorithm. The detected pothole locations are then stored in a cloud database and displayed on a web application for public and government use.

I built a CI/CD pipeline to pull code from Github, using Jenkins, use Maven to build the code, and deploy it on Tomcat running on Docker. All servers were running on AWS EC2 instances.

Control Systems Engineer Co-op Intern

  • Designed, programmed, and implemented a new system to able to test different components of a critical machine to make diagnostics and data collection easier. Utilized RSLogix to implement and monitor this system. This resulted in quicker maintenance time, reduce costs in labor and parts, and reduced down time.
  • Supported the CI/CD pipeline by programming new laser scanners to be used in the manufacturing process and replacing RFID scanners. This resulted in a faster cycle time for each part produced by 1.5 seconds and saving money.
  • Designed and programmed applications using Rockwell Automation’s software, to be used by machine operators. Implemented features to reduce mistakes in data entry, as well as automating data entry required.
  • Worked as a team and individually to diagnose and correct deficiencies in manufacturing process and equipment
